Château Pont de Brion
From 1931 to the present day, five generations have succeeded one another on this estate located on the outskirts of Langon. Over the years, the estate has grown to cover 21 hectares. The vineyard, nestling in the former bed of the Garonne, benefits from a mild, temperate climate that is conducive to its development.
Today, Charlotte, who joined her father Pascal in 2015, is at the head of the winery, carrying on the family traditions. Environmentally-friendly viticulture, simple, precise winemaking and traditional ageing techniques produce authentic wines that reflect the terroir and the work that has gone into them.
Concerned about preserving the environment that provides so much beautiful material during the harvest, the Molinari family has for several years been committed to an approach that respects nature.
Just as there is a philosophy for growing vines, there is also, of course, a philosophy for making and ageing wines.
The main idea is to carefully observe the freshly picked grapes, to taste the pulp as well as the skins and pips, in order to adapt the winemaking process to create a vintage that reflects the climate and the events of the year.
